We ordered sunshine for our Cafe run to Waihi Beach today and that’s what we got, served up alongside a yummy breakfast and great coffee. Andrew was lusting after a freak shake from Whangamata so we headed there next and caught the tail end of Beach Hop. Freak shakes had been discontinued and instead we got torrential rain all the way home, a pity we were wearing our summer gear with no waterproofing ….
